Chelsea could accept an offer in the region of £25M for loanee Tammy Abraham this summer, according to the Mirror.
Abraham impressed at Aston Villa this term, with the Mirror’s report suggesting that the newly-promoted side want him on a permanent basis.
They’ll have to meet Chelsea’s demands, however, with it being claimed that £25M is the figure Marina Granovskaia is holding out for.
Don’t sell Tammy
There would be very little sense in Chelsea allowing Abraham to walk out the door at this point in time.
The Englishman scored 25 league goals this season. Even in the Championship, that’s a seriously impressive figure.
With it also looking unlikely that Gonzalo Higuain remains, Chelsea could head into next season needing a new starting striker.
While Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud will also be wanting to make their case, Abraham has a fighting chance of coming out on top.
Selling him at this stage of his career would be yet another mistake from a notoriously naive Chelsea board.
